Hi all, Wow, what a great week we've had. The kids have really got into the meaning behind ANZAC Day and have really enjoyed reading and writing about it. We had a real treat today when Rebecca brought along the medals from her great, great uncle - very special.
Next week is the last week of term - we will have a normal week until Friday when we have our reflection assembly in the hall at 9:15am. Please come along and support us! Also on Friday will be a spelling test - a random selection of 20 words from this term. Special prize for anyone who gets 20/20! Enjoy the last week and of course the holidays together! Sarah
Hi everyone, It was a treat to have a short week last week, and only 2 full weeks to go before the holidays. Please put the end of term reflection assembly in your diary now - Friday 19th April, 9.15am in the school hall. We are going to start looking into ANZAC Day this week - reading and writing about it as well as some art work related to poppies. We finished our tapa cloth art last week - it looks AMAZING! Hi everyone, Another short week this week - I hope you enjoyed the mini break! It won't be long before the holidays are upon us. We welcome a new whanau to Kowhai this week - I'm sure all the Kowhai kids will make Rebecca feel very welcome. This Friday Solway is having a mufti day to support and fundraise for Red Puppy Day - please bring along a gold coin. We are also having our first Friday assembly this Friday morning in the hall.
